Thought I'd do something simple, block coloured. Kind of Penguin book influenced. Seems to work for posters.

Not sure if I need to do anything else to it, will try some things out.

Bane rough

Currently working on my interpretations of villains, building up to a great big Batman rogues gallery ensemble piece. Here's a rough colour in of Bane, dunno if it should be grayscale.

Black and white does look a hell of a lot better.

Another idea for the palindromes project, speeding through this one too.

Not sure about the tones on the cheek, going to probably add the text in with sailor tattooy pastiche.

Few additions, probably not going to go with shading as that along with the texture of the blood would be a bit too cluttered looking. Gonna sleep on it and return in the morn

After a couple of tests I set the soda cup in the backseat, and have sped along with the Walter White portait, couple new ideas for typography and logos, still wanting to come up with a third variant, as most of my ideas come in threes.

Anyhow, here's a better portrait of Bryan Cranston.

Gonna play around with colouring, hopefully will need just two block colours

EDIT: here's the coloured mockup, need to sort out resolution etc. Would preferably like to keep the hair's texture

New stuff coming up

After a good few weeks working through different processes and starting a lot of personal projects, I have decided to go back to the themes that started them all of, TV. A solid month was spent drawing the Crypt Keeper, which I may upload sometime if I come back to him, but for now I'm straying away from nostalgia and keeping it contemporary.

With plans for others coming about, these are just some plans for some illustrations inspired by the fantastic US Drama Breaking Bad.
