Tonal study, experimenting with mark-making, I find it a much more interesting process if I make up my own lighting.
13 minute study, interesting breakoff at the head
1 hour tonal study, not much progress.
Most recent, 30 minute study - inks and chalk. I'm still iffy around the eyes of folk.
PLEASE EXCUSE the quality of the photos, they're all pretty large pieces, so I can't exactly get everything in shot without a wee wobble.
